HIVR FAQ:
1. Does recording function sometimes fail in Win Vista or Win7 OS?
Ans: This problem can be solved by use “administrator privilege” to log in OS.

2. How come I cannot use it after downloading the HIVR software and what the other devices needs it?
Ans: Because this software needs with a Web or PC camera, IP camera, and our capture monitor card there is support DirectShow protocol.

3. Does Web/PC camera with built-in microphone to record the sound?
Ans: The software does not support PC camera built-in microphone models currently. Recording sounds only support capture cards and IP cam.

4. How to delete old recording files?
Ans: You can be deleted “Record”&” RecSection” the directory directly.

5. How long does PC camera signal effective distance? Dose it support any capture cards?
Ans: PC camera signal effective distance is depending on the PC camera itself, but at the distance supports about 2 meters or so, which depends on which vender would be use the camera better depends on the lens

Sometimes the PC camera is not using good Lenses. If the problem is the cable signal only 5 M for current USB 2.0, but signal amplification becomes weak, and which available in the market transfer line can be extended, so the length of the signal can be improved.

Capture card as long as monitor the card itself must support DirectShow data format that can be received normal image, another way of obtaining images through the Driver has TW 68xx boards.

6. When you install the different Channel version, sometimes the software crash will cause?
Ans: Please delete the older video files to solve this problem.

7. How to open the fully function of the software? (Registration)
Ans: Please enter the "About" page, and then enter the serial number and press "Register" button to activated the software.
Note: “Register” must be connecting on Internet.

8. Why over 2 or more IP cameras will not display on the laptop?
Ans: Main reason because of the laptop has no enough power, and suggests using USB Hub cascade these devices to reduce power consumption.

9. How to log in the software when you installed it?
Ans: After installed the software, the user first directly click "OK "to enter main console without input any data.

10. Why not the user cannot record it?
Ans: Please open the "recording" page, check the "reserved space " figures and "storage directory" in the remaining space of the directory-related information, when the remaining space is less than "reserved space " when not recording, you can adjust "Reserved space, "the enough space to set a location to save the video.

11. Why does motion detection sometimes fail or more insensitive?
Ans: The user can click the "camera" settings page, and then click the "motion detection", will open the motion detection with the sensitivity to the value (the higher the number the more sensitive).
